When you are the drummer for one of the premiere RUSH tribute bands, you are already putting yourself in a potentially impossible situation! Neal Peart is widely regarded as one of the most influential drummers to have ever held a pair of sticks. Aside from a lifetime of musical awards, he is also a member of the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame (RUSH was inducted in 2013).
For over 25 years, Reed had a dream of his perfect drum kit. One built for a single purpose, to play the music of RUSH! You will never see this kit unless you come to a RUSHOUR show because that is the only time Reed brings out to play!
Based on Neil Peart's Retro "Eldarko" Drum Kit for the R40 tour, Reed named his appropriately "Son Of El Darko"! Seeing them side by side, I think you'll agree that The Professor would be proud!
